Mixing Tanks

Mixing tanks are industrial equipment used for the homogeneous blending of different liquids or chemicals, solution preparation, and maintaining process stability. At Tempo Kompozit, we manufacture project-specific GRP mixing tanks tailored to the requirements of each mixing process.

Made from Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP), these mixing tanks offer high resistance to corrosion, chemical effects, and environmental conditions. Suitable resin systems (such as isophthalic or vinylester) are selected based on process conditions to ensure a long-lasting and safe structure. They can be safely used for acidic, basic, and neutral fluids.

Tanks are designed considering the viscosity, density, and process duration of the fluid to be mixed. Flanges and connection details compatible with mechanical, magnetic, or top/side-entry mixer systems are determined according to the project. Optional accessories such as baffles, level indicators, sampling nozzles, filling/discharge lines, and manhole covers can also be integrated.

The interior surfaces of GRP mixing tanks are manufactured smooth to minimize residue buildup and facilitate cleaning. Tanks can be produced as monoblock or modular units, offering advantages in transport and installation due to their lightweight construction. Solutions suitable for above-ground or semi-buried applications can be provided.

All mixing tanks are designed to withstand static and dynamic loads and undergo quality control and leak testing before delivery. Our GRP mixing tanks are safely used in treatment plants, chemical, food, energy, and various industrial processes.
